Thomas B. Elliott founded Elliott Gemological laboratory, LLC. In 1998. It later became North American Gemological Laboratory. Thomas Elliott, President of N.A.G.L., is actively involved in the jewelry industry and has been since 1989. He is a Graduate Jeweler Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) and is a member of the GIA Alumni Association. Thomas is also a member of the International Society of Appraisers (I.S.A.) and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (N.A.J.A.).
Prior to opening Elliott Gemological Laboratory, Mr. Elliott worked in Gemological Institute of America’s (G.I.A.) Education Department, was a bench jeweler, retail store manager and wholesaler for color gemstones.
Thomas was also selected as the appraiser of fine jewelry, antique jewelry and watches for several prestigious programs including:
